Ventures in Nature Summer Camp

REGISTRATION BEGINS JANUARY 14th

Camp available for ages 2.5 - 14 years old.
(Younger children must be toilet trained/pull ups)

Choice of:
Half Day Morning Class
Half Day Afternoon Class
Full Day
**Early and Aftercare available for extra fee.

Each day has a different theme combined with hiking/wading in age appropriate groups. (For example: Mondays - Ecology; Tuesdays - Art; Wednesdays - Survivor Skills; Thursdays - Rock Climbing; Fridays - Photography)

Children ages 2.5-5 will have fun activities including nature observation and tracking, arts and crafts, story time, and practice of gross and fine motor skills.

**Please pack a snack & water everyday (and lunch for full day), along with sunblock, hand sanitizer & bug spray.

• June 16 - 20 - Skytop
• June 23 - 27 - Summit
• June 30 - July 3 - South Mountain
  (Closed July 4th. Credit $60 for half day & $120 for full day.)
• July 7 - 11 - South Mountain
• July 14 - 18 - Skytop
• July 21 - 25 - Summit
• July 28 - August 1 - Skytop
• August 4 - 8 - Skytop
• August 11 - 15 - Summit
• August 18 - 22 - South Mountain
• August 25 - 29 - Summit

June 23 & 30 - Special Group for Ages 10-14

Skytop is located in Watchung Reservation.
Summit is located along the Passaic River.
South Mountain is around Tulip Springs.

Full Day - $650/week
9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Monday thru Friday

 

Half Day - $300/week
9:00 AM - 12:00 NOON or 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Monday thru Friday

 

SUMMER CAMPS are to be purchased by the week.
If sign up for entire summer, fee is $3000 for half day and $7000 for Full Day.
Come and go as you like. No refunds for missed days.
If you need before or aftercare, it is an additional $20 per hour.

Important Information:

• No REFUNDS for missed days. Make up classes must be approved by Debbie and only if there is available space.
• All makeup sessions must be made up within a month of the missed class.
• Cancellations requested by 5/01/2024 will receive a refund minus a 5% cancellation fee per session. Cancellations made after 5/14/2024 will not be refunded.
• If a camper or camper's parent exhibits unsafe behavior, or is physically or verbally abusive towards other campers or camp staff, the child will be expelled from camp without a refund.
• If there are hazardous road or air quality conditions on any program days, we may have a delayed start time, schedule an early release, or change the location. In the event that we need to cancel due to circumstances outside of our control (ie weather or air quality) a makeup day may be scheduled.
• Drop off location may change within 10 minutes of designated area. -Unfortunately, we won't be able to offer refunds if more than half of the class has been in session. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility.
