Ventures in Nature is a place for children to escape, reconnect with nature, and play. Kids will engage in various nature activities such as hiking, wading, observing, tracking, and using mindfulness tools, all of which encourage the use of their imagination and curiosity.
Classes will have a theme but will primarily be led by the children's interests, allowing them to playfully reconnect with nature through hikes in New Jersey.
Our mission is to provide an inclusive space for all children where curiosity builds confidence. Our guides connect with the land to teach our children.

Our nature and forest school classes are immersive learning environments where your children will learn about the world first-hand through observation, hiking and tracking.
Empowerment
& Recreation
Our outdoor nature classes empower and increase your child's confidence through recreational activities such as hiking, arts & crafts, photography and more.
Reasoning &
Cognitive Behavior
Our nature classes triggers your child's natural curiosity and connects it with science, math and the arts. Children in our After School Program will learn age-appropriate basic survival skills and anything else that attracts their attention.
Connection to Nature
Our nature preschool and forest school classes are learning experiences for your child that will inspire curiosity, teach them about the world around them, and instill an appreciation and love for nature.
Classes focus on different themes depending on the age group in nature.
Children are encouraged to seek, discover & explore their surroundings.
The older kids sessions are survival skills, mental & physical fitness as the kids change to challenge
themselves while supporting each other to builds one's self esteem, adventurousness & confidence.
As kids advance, we will work with knives, knots & offer weekend retreats.
